MEC quick change charge bars differ from all other MEC charge bars in that they are designed for MEC single-stage shotshell presses and can only be used with MEC powder charge bushings (sold separately). Reloading gun parts such as Charge Bars Shell Holders Die Shell Holders and Feeders require custom sleeves according to the type of shot being used so it is important to select the correct size from among the shot types you have stored in the shell holder. Also having two different shot charge bar sizes doesn't allow you to simply re-use the same charge bar which could result in damage to both the shot and the reloading system.
