Meprolight Tru-Dot Remington R1 Green Tritium Front Sight

The Meprolight Tru-Dot Green Tritium Front Sight is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory front sight on the Remington R1 1911 (standard model only — not compatible with the R1 Enhanced), featuring a self-illuminating Swiss tritium vial with a white contrast ring for fast, instinctive target acquisition in any lighting condition with no batteries or switches required. Pair it with a Meprolight Tru-Dot rear sight to complete a fully integrated day/night tritium sight system that delivers the same identical sight picture from broad daylight to total darkness, with zero transition needed between lighting conditions. Drop-proof, shockproof, solvent-resistant, maintenance-free, and backed by Meprolight's 12-year tritium illumination guarantee, this front sight installs directly into the factory dovetail with no slide modifications required.
