The action is bolstered and scalloped with disc-set strikers for positive lockup and smooth operation; controls include traditional double triggers with an articulated front trigger and a tang-mounted manual safety. Its has a 23.6-inch full-octagon barrel - hammer-forged Krupp steel barrel with an extended full-length rib; that features a raised, ramped front-sight, a ramped quarter rib, and a fitted sling swivel. The sights are purpose-built for dangerous game: a gold-bead front and a rear arrangement of one standing leaf plus three folding leaves with a shallow vee. Metal finishes are silver-nitride with satin rust-blue and gold appointments; engraving is extensive and refined (English-style arabesque scroll on the breech ends, receiver, top & bottom tangs, top lever, cross bolt, trigger guard, grip cap and fore-end iron), including a gold Cape Buffalo motif and the African Safari Series number 19 on the bottom of the receiver all executed by engraver Mathias Koch. Additional action appointments include a checkered top lever, Greener-style cross bolt, rolled-edge trigger guard, gold-plated caulking indicators, and a Greener cross bolt. The stock is premium Grade-5 Luxus walnut with a pistol grip and side panels, a classic European-style cheekpiece with a shallow line, steel cross bolt and grip cap, and a splinter fore-end with a Deely release. The wood is hand-rubbed oil finished and features wrap-around multi-point checkering and a factory recoil pad for reliable carry and handling.
