SKU 11494-1OBDS is the standard-edge version, making it the choice for someone who wants the Outbreak theme with a continuous cutting surface. The tanto profile adds a defined angular transition near the tip, giving the knife a different cutting outline from the dagger versions of the UTX-70. The Outbreak treatment supplies the visual distinction, while the Gen IV action supplies the everyday operating convenience. It is a compact collector-oriented configuration that remains a functional cutting tool.Shop the Microtech UTX-70 Gen IV T/E Outbreak at ARMSAGORA's retailers. Choose this plain configuration for its tanto blade and distinctive Microtech design.Plain-Edge Tanto in the Outbreak ThemeThe tanto blade divides its outline into a main cutting section and a distinct front section. A plain edge keeps those cutting surfaces free of serrations for controlled utility work. The Outbreak presentation gives the knife an intentionally themed appearance. Choose this standard-edge version when the uninterrupted edge and angular blade shape are the features that matter most to you.Updated Gen IV MechanicsMicrotech equips the UTX-70 Gen IV with its Dual-Fuel Drive Train and Crud Kutter technologies. The double-action mechanism deploys and retracts the blade through the front of the handle using the slider. The updated drive system focuses on operating feel, while the debris-relief design helps keep the slider area moving freely. Those features give the compact knife a more developed mechanical package, complementing its short overall length and pocket-friendly footprint.Handle Construction and FinishThe Outbreak aluminum handle is central to the appearance of this knife. Its themed treatment differentiates it from the standard black UTX-70 while retaining the compact Gen IV format. The distinctive exterior, angular tanto blade and plain edge create a coordinated presentation. The combination gives Microtech collectors and everyday knife enthusiasts a compact automatic with a clear individual character.Product SpecificationsManufacturer: Microtech KnivesModel: UTX-70 Gen IV T/E OutbreakManufacturer SKU: 11494-1OBDSUPC: 840577401325Blade style: TantoEdge configuration: PlainAction: Double-action out-the-front automaticBlade length: 2.5 inchesOverall length: 6 inchesFinish / edition: Outbreak configurationHandle: Outbreak aluminumCountry of manufacture: USAIncluded ItemOne Microtech UTX-70 Gen IV T/E Outbreak knife in the 11494-1OBDS configuration.Frequently Asked QuestionsIs this the plain or partially serrated Outbreak?SKU 11494-1OBDS is the standard plain-edge tanto version. What is the size of this Gen IV knife? The blade length is 2.5 inches, and the overall length is 6 inches.Order the Microtech UTX-70 Gen IV T/E Outbreak from ARMSAGORA's retailers.
