Choose this plain configuration for its hellhound blade and distinctive Microtech design.Hellhound Profile with an Apocalyptic FinishThe Hellhound blade is the defining feature of this configuration. Its angular form and detailed machining create a more expressive profile than a conventional utility blade. The plain edge provides a continuous cutting surface for opening packages and other deliberate cuts. Microtech's Apocalyptic treatment adds a weathered appearance that complements the black chassis without changing the specified edge configuration.Zero Blade Play and Dual-Fuel OperationMicrotech's Zero Blade Play system is designed to minimize movement when the blade is deployed, giving the open knife a more settled feel. The Dual-Fuel Drive Train supports smooth automatic deployment and retraction through the thumb slider. Crud Kutter relief beneath the slider helps channel debris away from the control area. Together, these features explain the appeal of the Gen III mechanism: a refined operating feel and attention to how the knife performs during repeated everyday use.Handle Construction and FinishA 6061-T6 aluminum handle keeps the chassis rigid without the mass of a solid steel handle. Torx hardware and an upgraded glass breaker complete the Gen III construction. The black handle gives the Apocalyptic blade a restrained backdrop, letting the Hellhound geometry remain the visual focus. Choose this configuration for its particular combination of blade style, finish and operating system.Product SpecificationsManufacturer: Microtech KnivesModel: Ultratech EX-ZBP Hellhound Signature SeriesManufacturer SKU: 1119EX-10APSUPC: 810222583966Blade style: HellhoundEdge configuration: PlainAction: Double-action out-the-front automaticBlade steel: Bohler M390MKBlade length: 3.55 inchesOverall length: 8.54 inchesBlade finish: ApocalypticHandle: Black 6061-T6 aluminumCountry of manufacture: USAIncluded ItemOne Microtech Ultratech EX-ZBP Hellhound Signature Series knife in the 1119EX-10APS configuration.Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does EX-ZBP identify?EX-ZBP is the designation of this Ultratech Hellhound Signature Series configuration.
