Description
The Midwest Industries Alpha AK-47 6-inch M-LOK handguard is a drop-in forend for AK-pattern rifles with stamped receivers. It is designed to fit AK-47, AK-74 and AKM firearms and supports several setups, including a full handguard, a bottom-only handguard, and a railed gas tube.
The handguard is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish. It is 6 inches long and includes a five-slot Picatinny rail section. The M-LOK slots allow accessories to be mounted at multiple points, and multiple QD points are provided for sling attachment. A heat shield is included.
The mount requires no permanent modifications to the firearm, so the original front handguard cap and sling loop can be retained. It is not compatible with Yugo or milled receiver firearms, and slight fitting may be needed depending on receiver size and handguard cap position.
