Description
The Midwest Industries Combat Rail M-LOK is an 11.5-inch free-float handguard for the AR-15 platform. It mounts over the barrel and attaches to the receiver through a barrel nut, keeping the handguard from contacting the barrel so that the barrel can vibrate freely.
The handguard is machined from 6061 aluminum with a Type 3 hard coat anodized black finish. Its torque plate is made of 4140 heat treated steel. A continuous MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail runs along the top, and the handguard has seven sides of M-LOK attachment slots. Two integral anti-rotation QD sling sockets are included, and the edges are dehorned and deburred. The barrel nut and wrench are included, along with a five-slot polymer M-LOK rail.
