Description
The Midwest Industries Alpha Series Fixed Beam is a side-folding stock for AR-15 platform rifles, mounting to a 1913 Picatinny rail adaptor. It is built from high strength polymer, aluminum, and 4140 steel, with an anodized black finish. The folding mechanism uses 4140 heat-treated steel and a full-length locking lug, and it locks solidly in both the extended and folded positions.
The stock is reversible and can be configured for right or left folding, which suits left-handed shooters. The polymer cheek piece has an adjustable, curved top surface, and the butt pad is adjustable for use with plate carriers or heavy gear. The steel clamp provides large surface engagement for stability. Three QD sling attachment points are included.
When extended, the stock adds 8.5 inches to overall firearm length, and when folded it adds 0.75 inch.
