Description
The Midwest Industries G2 Two Piece Gen 2 is a rifle-length handguard for the AR-15, designed as a drop-in replacement for factory plastic handguards to add accessory mounting space. It is made from 6061 aluminum with a black hard coat anodized finish.
The handguard carries four MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails for mounting accessories, with laser-engraved T-marks showing accessory locations. It measures 12 inches overall and installs without gunsmithing or permanent alterations, using the same procedure as the original polymer handguards.
The handguards are compatible with direct gas and most gas piston operating systems, with the exception of those produced by Osprey Defense. Barrel nut is not included.
