Description
The Midwest Industries MK2 T2 Aimpoint Mount is a scope base machined to accept the T2 Aimpoint red dot sight. It gives the optic a dedicated footprint rather than relying on a universal mounting interface, which helps the sight sit in a consistent, repeatable position.
The mount is made of aluminum and steel, combining reduced weight with the strength to hold the optic under recoil. It has a 2.26 inch mount height, which places the sight in a standard co-witness or near co-witness position with iron sights on many modern sporting rifles. The black hardcoat anodized finish resists scratching, corrosion and wear from repeated mounting and removal. At 2 inches long, it adds minimal bulk to the top of the receiver.
