Description
The Midwest Industries MK2 Riser Mount is a scope base that raises an optic mounted on a 1913 Picatinny rail, giving shooters with taller stocks or thicker cheek pads the clearance needed for a proper cheekweld. The riser is machined from hard anodized 6061 aluminum and uses 4140 heat treated steel clamps for holding strength under recoil. Torx hardware is integrated into the clamps to simplify assembly.
This is a 5-slot configuration sized for shorter optic footprints. It adds 0.625 inch of height, measures 3.2 inches overall in length, and weighs about 2.4 ounces. Midwest Industries also offers 9-slot and 13-slot versions for longer optics.
