The Midwest Industries M-Lok handguard is constructed from 6061 aluminum, and type 3 hard coat anodized for a lifetime of service. It has a lightweight, true free float design with a slim profile, as well as a true free float design. It has two built in anti-rotation QD sockets, 8 sides of M-Lok slots, and 5-slot polymer M-Lok rail included.
