Description
The Midwest Industries Slim Line is a free float handguard for the AR-15 platform, designed to mount over the barrel without contacting it and to provide a slim profile for the forend. It is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in black Type 3 hard coat anodizing for wear resistance.
The handguard measures 9.25 inches in overall length, with a 1.5-inch outside diameter and a 1.3-inch inside diameter. It uses a 4140 heat-treated torque plate for installation and includes two integral anti-rotation QD sling sockets. Three sides carry M-LOK slots, and a 5-slot polymer M-LOK rail is included. The edges are dehorned and deburred.
The package includes the barrel nut, screws, and barrel nut wrench required for installation.
