Description
The Midwest Industries SP Series M-LOK is a one-piece free float handguard for AR-15 rifles. It mounts to the receiver extension and barrel nut and keeps the handguard from contacting the barrel, which is the purpose of a free float design. It is intended for shooters who want a rail system for accessories and a handguard that can clear a suppressor.
The handguard is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish. It measures 12.63 inches overall, with an inside diameter of 1.670 inches, an outside diameter of 2.0 inches, and 1.95 inches across the mounting flats. It has seven sides of M-LOK compatible slots and a MIL-STD 1913 top rail marked for accessory location. It is made for suppressors no larger than 1.55 inches in diameter.
The package includes one five-slot Magpul M-LOK polymer rail section, a barrel nut, and a barrel nut wrench.
