Description
New Haven Model 600AT 12 Gauge With Adjustable Choke New Haven Model 600AT pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Manufactured by O.F. Mossberg & Sons, the 600AT shares its basic receiver and operating design with the Model 500 while carrying the New Haven private-label markings. This field configuration features a 28-inch barrel fitted with an adjustable C-Lect choke. The choke is changed by rotating the adjustment sleeve at the muzzle, allowing the shooter to select different levels of constriction without changing choke tubes. This provides versatility for hunting, recreational clay shooting, and general field use. The shotgun has a blued receiver and barrel with a walnut-finished wood stock and matching checkered forearm. Diamond-pattern checkering on the forearm and pistol grip provides a secure hold while retaining the traditional appearance of an older American field shotgun. The tang-mounted safety is positioned at the rear of the receiver for convenient operation from either side. The shotgun uses a tubular magazine and the familiar pump-action system associated with the Model 500 family. This shotgun is in very good condition with normal handling and field marks. The blued finish remains strong overall, and the wood retains an attractive gloss finish with scattered scratches, small impressions, and light finish wear. The checkering remains well defined, and no major cracks are apparent.
