Description
The Mossberg Patriot 400 Legend is a right-handed bolt-action rifle sold as a bundle with a 3-9x40 scope. It is chambered in 400 Legend, a straight-walled cartridge suited to states with caliber restrictions and to hunters seeking reliable knockdown power at practical distances.
The rifle has a 20-inch barrel with a 1-in-16 rate of twist and 11/16x24 threads for attaching a muzzle device or suppressor. Its spiral fluted bolt is intended to reduce weight. The user-adjustable LBA trigger, thumb safety, and matte blue finish complete the action, and the rifle weighs 7 pounds with an overall length of 40.75 inches.
The black synthetic stock is paired with a 4-round box magazine, with one magazine included. The rifle ships with the 3-9x40 scope already mounted, so it is ready for use out of the box.
