Description
The Mossberg Patriot in 6.5 PRC is a bolt-action centerfire rifle built for accuracy and field use. Its 24-inch fluted barrel reduces weight and aids cooling during extended shooting sessions, and the 1:8 twist rate is suited to stabilizing high ballistic coefficient projectiles. The threaded muzzle accepts suppressors or muzzle brakes, and the spiral-fluted bolt is intended for smooth cycling.
The rifle features a walnut stock, a matte blued finish, and Mossberg's Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) adjustable trigger. It has a Weaver-style base installed for optics mounting and no factory sights. At 7 pounds with a 44.25-inch overall length, it is intended for hunting and long-range shooting. The 4-round detachable magazine and two-position thumb safety complete the platform.
