Mossberg Maverick 88 Security 12 Gauge 18.5" Pump Shotgun

The Mossberg Maverick 88 Security is a right-handed, bolt-free pump action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with 3-inch chambers. It is intended for home defense and general-purpose use, and its plain configuration suits users who want a simple, dependable pump gun.

The 18.5-inch barrel is fitted with a bead front sight and carries a blued finish. The shotgun has a five-round capacity and an overall length of 39.5 inches. It weighs 7 pounds. The cylinder bore is noted as allowing a range of loads without concern for a tight choke.

Because the barrel uses a cylinder bore, the shotgun is not fitted with interchangeable choke tubes. Shooters should confirm that the 3-inch chamber matches the shells they intend to use.
