Mtech Manual Folding Knife Pop Box 1.4in 3CR13 Stainless Steel Drop Point Steel Blade Aluminum Handle 12 knives Flag. The flag represents our continued commitment to the troops and homeland defense. The flag is made of durable anodized aluminum. The handles are equipped with a liner lock and the blades are made of high carbon 3Cr13 stainless steel with a satin finish. The liner lock prevents the blades from slipping when they are opened and the use of a liner lock also prevents rusting. Each knife measures 3.4" closed. The liner lock is open with a prominent groove on the upper right side of the blade. Inside the grooves are "ear" openings that when opened create a slight tension that helps prevent slipping. By closing the blades and opening them up manually they take less strength away from the blade and more from the handle and then back in place to form a small tension spring which is a nice feature for those who want a small spring for detail work or screwdrivers etc. The knives feature liner locking mechanisms and the flag is made from aluminum so it is tough enough to last.
