The back spring keeps the blade of the knife securely in the closed position until you open it. Once open the blade deploys easily with the use of a thumbstud. The knife has a Reverse Tanto blade and has an aluminum handle with spine and choil studs. It has a stainless steel liner and it has an anodized aluminum handle with a stainless steel pocket clip. The liner clip provides right hand carry. The knife comes complete with a Kydex box for chain (cinch strap) and a double slotted glass breaker. There is a box for the knife case and a double slotted glass breaker for the chain. The knife comes with a lanyard for the chain.
