The MTM Case-Gard .223 Ammo Can Combo holds 400 rounds of .223 ammunition (5.56 NATO) securely, with 4 RS-100 ammo boxes that fit inside to keep each cartridge separate from the rest. A heavy-duty latching system and 2 padlock tabs provide security against unwanted entry and spillage, while a tongue and groove O-Ring sealed lid keeps out water and dirt. A comfortable handle carries heavy loads and folds flat while stacking cans; molded-in stacking ridges keeps cans from toppling over. The RS-100 boxes have a mechanical hinge and a snap-lock latch. Both the MTM Case-Gard .223 Ammo Can and the RS-100 ammo boxes are constructed of rugged polypropylene that will not warp, crack, chip, or peel. The included sticker labels allow shooters to accurately record different loads in each of the 4 boxes.
