The Guide Light MT Frame also makes the Overload shelf easier to access. The bag itself has also undergone a couple of minor changes to increase functionality. One of these changes is that the full-length side zipper now runs outside of the side pocket making it easier to access gear at the very bottom of your pack. The Metcalf has two open-topped side pockets rather than just one. This is a great improvement because it allows you to carry your rifle or tripod on either side of your pack.
