Nambu ~ Model 14 ~ 8mm x 22 Nambu

The Nambu Model 14 pistol is one of the most unique and recognizable military handgun designs of the 20th Century. It was the sidearm of the Japanese military from the 1920's through World War II. This one was apparently brought back to the US by an American serviceman, because it still has the original capture-paper permission slip with it, a remarkable find. It also has the leather military-issue holster, cleaning rods, and two magazines. It's in surprisingly good shape for presumably having spent much of its life in that leather holster. The seller was unable to give us any specific history on this gun, so everything we know about it is in this listing. We have tried to include photos of the relevant markings so that collectors can see what they need to see on this historic piece. The action feels smooth, and the bore looks clean and bright.
