Nobel Sport Upland Game 12 Gauge 2-3/4" 1-1/4 oz #8 Shotshells 25 Rounds

Nobel Sport Heavy Field Upland Game Shotshells are 12 gauge upland shotshells for non-waterfowl game like pheasant, grouse, or turkey, depending on your region. Each shell sends a heavy 1-1/4 oz charge of #8 lead shot downrange at a standard 1220 fps, a dense payload for fast-flushing birds. It gives upland hunters a heavier shot charge while keeping velocity in the standard class, a practical pairing for long days walking fields and cover. Inside each 2-3/4" plastic hull, the load pairs a full 1-1/4 oz of #8 lead shot with a 3-1/4 dram equivalent powder charge. Dram equivalent is a traditional rating that compares a modern powder charge to an older black powder load, so higher numbers mean a stronger charge. Muzzle velocity is 1220 fps, within the 1200-1399 fps standard velocity class, and a 209 primer, the common shotshell primer size, handles ignition. These shells run in any 12 gauge shotgun chambered for 2-3/4" or longer shells, so check your barrel markings before you load. Because #8 is a small pellet size, this 12 gauge #8 shot load puts plenty of pellets in the air for close, quick upland shots. Pattern your shotgun with your preferred choke at field distances, and you'll know how these pheasant and grouse loads print before opening day.
