NATIONAL ORDNANCE ~ 1903A3 ~ .30-06 GOV

The National Ordnance Co. produced investment casting receivers in the 1960s, and built rifles around them using kits of surplus parts. In this case the barrel is labeled "RA 7-44," a Remington Arms barrel made in July 1944. These rifles look really nice, and could be a good a really good re-enactors' or drill and honor guard rifle.
