NcSTAR AR-15 Upper Receiver Block Blue Anodized Aluminum

The NcSTAR AR-15 Upper Receiver Block is a modular gunsmithing tool for holding an AR-15 upper receiver during maintenance. It is made from blue anodized aluminum and can be used in two configurations. The lower half can be attached to the upper receiver with two included receiver pins and clamped in a vise. Bolting both halves together fully supports the upper receiver, helping prevent damage from torque when installing or removing barrels.

The upper half inserts into the receiver in the same way as a bolt carrier group. Because the assembly supports the inside and bottom of the receiver, it leaves the optics rail open for accessories and optics, unlike blocks that clamp to the exterior. A bore hole through the length of the block serves as a brush guide for cleaning the barrel bore. Steel bolts are included for joining the two halves.
