Description
The NcSTAR VISM Universal Pistol Rear Sight Installation Tool is a gunsmithing fixture for removing, installing, and adjusting windage on dovetail rear sights. It is intended for most semi-auto pistol slides, including full-size, compact, subcompact, and pocket models.
The tool has an adjustable base platform for setting slide height, along with multiple vertical and horizontal clamps and an adjustable top brace with plastic inserts to hold the slide steady. The rear sight pusher works with both 90-degree and 30-degree sight profiles and can push in either direction. Side witness windows on both sides of the frame help verify alignment. The tool is made of steel and aluminum and is finished in blue. One bottom spacer is included for certain pocket pistol slides.
