Description
The NcSTAR VISM Tourniquet and Trauma Shear Pouch is a green carrier designed to hold a tourniquet for quick access in an emergency. Its elastic sides conform to different tourniquet thicknesses, and it is sized to fit most commonly available tourniquets.
The pouch measures 7 inches high, 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep, with a flap about 5.5 inches long. A slot in the back holds a trauma shear, secured with hook and loop straps. The hook and loop closure flap carries a TQ patch in red thread and a high-visibility red pull tab for fast opening.
Multiple vertical and horizontal MOLLE straps on the back allow mounting on MOLLE-compatible gear, and a belt loop permits horizontal mounting on a duty belt. The pouch can also be used as a general purpose or magazine pouch. The tourniquet and trauma shear are not included.
