It is built around a 640 x 512 uncooled micro-bolometer sensor paired with a 9mm lens delivering a wide 48-degree horizontal field of view, capable of detecting heat signatures from pedestrians, animals, and vehicles up to 660 yards away through complete darkness, fog, rain, snow, and smoke. The USB variant streams video and draws power simultaneously through a single USB-A 3.1 connection, eliminating the need for separate monitors, power cables, or dedicated displays and making it a particularly clean solution for law enforcement, public safety, and commercial fleet vehicles already equipped with in-cab computing.
