K.Giessel ~ Underlever Damascus ~ 10 Gauge

Here is a unique side by side that is hard to find information on. K. Giessel was a provincial gunsmith in Weissenberg, a small town in Saxony, Germany. The gun lacks German proof marks which could be because it was made before Germany introduced proofing of civilian firearms (1892). 29 inch damascus barrels. Engraving all over with some nice details. Fore end is cracked but it's not very noticable because it is under the lever which covers most of it. Very elaborate trigger guard and what appears to be horn behind it. You'll never see another shotgun like this. Great side by side for anyone's collection.
