Sako M28 Finnish Military Rifle 7.62x54R

Manufactured by Sako for the elite Finnish Civil Guard, this early-production Model M28 infantry rifle is a premier piece of Nordic military history. The barrel shank features the desirable "SY" acceptance mark and a "D" chamber upgrade, while correctly remaining undated. Highly prized by collectors, this exceptional example features the factory serial number on the left side of the barrel shank and a traceable Civil Guard District property number on the right side. Because the district property number matches the stamp located on the flat of the bolt body, this rifle is confirmed to have seen frontline service with the historic Viipuri District on the eastern border, making it a highly authentic, investment-grade piece for any military surplus collection.
