Izhevsk Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant 7.62x54R 1917 Bolt Action Rifle

Manufactured at the historic Izhevsk Arsenal during the pivotal year of 1917, this Imperial Russian Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle is a rare artifact of the Russian Revolution. It features clear Cyrillic factory script dated 1917 over a hexagonal receiver. Uniquely, the traditional Imperial bow-and-arrow crest is absent from the barrel shank, representing a highly collectible transitional variation where Tsarist symbols were scrubbed by rising Soviet forces. Crucially for collectors, this rifle retains its original, full-length 32-inch infantry barrel and Arshin-graduated rear sights, escaping the post-war arsenal cuts that shortened most surviving examples and making it an exceptional investment piece for military surplus collectors.
