Description
It’s not enough for a bullet to expand inside of its target. It also has to weather intense hydrostatic resistance in order to reach the depth where terminal expansion can do the most damage. That’s why Norma created their BONDSTRIKE line of ammunition, which they boast has toppled it all from hogs to moose.
This 308 Win round’s 180 grain bullet features a bonded jacket and core. The two components are so strongly united that little can occur to tear them apart from one another. In effect the BONDSTRIKE bullet retains the mass that deep, deadly penetration can’t take place without.
The BONDSTRIKE bullet’s sharp blue polymer tip complements its match boat tail to achieve a crazy high 0.615 ballistic coefficient. The bullet flies fast and flat and still has about 1,950 ft lbs of energy to spare at 300 yards, making it great for long-distance hunting. On impact the bullet’s thin frontal jacket section gives way to its tip, commencing superb terminal expansion that’ll put down virtually anything that goes by four legs.
And if you’d load this brass cased, non-corrosive, dependable and Swedish-made ammo into the AR-10 you’d use for home defense? Well, we didn’t want to break into your house anyway … but we definitely would want to if that were the case.
