Description
The North American Arms Sheriff 1860 is a compact single-action revolver chambered in 22 WMR (.22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire). It has a stainless steel finish and a 2.5-inch barrel, giving it a short overall length of 6.31 inches and a light weight of 7.7 ounces.
The revolver holds five rounds in its cylinder and uses a single-action trigger mechanism. Its post front sight is fixed, so alignment is not adjusted by the user. The raw retailer text describes the barrel as octagonal, and the stainless finish extends across the frame, barrel and cylinder.
Because it is a 22 WMR revolver, it is suited to ammunition in that caliber and is designed for that cartridge only.
