North American Arms Sidewinder Stainless .22 LR / .22 Mag 1.5 Barrel 5-Rounds

North American Arms Sidewinder Features The North American Arms Sidewinder stands apart from the company s traditional mini revolvers with a swing-out cylinder that loads and unloads like a standard full-size revolver rather than requiring the cylinder pin to be removed. Chambered in .22 LR with an included .22 Mag cylinder for caliber flexibility the Sidewinder gives shooters the choice of a quieter plinking round or added defensive power when the moment calls for more stopping power. The 1.5 inch barrel and 5-round cylinder keep the revolver small enough to disappear into a pocket while still offering a real defensive option rather than a novelty. A stainless post front sight provides a visible aiming reference despite the gun s diminutive size and the swing-out design makes reloading far faster than the traditional NAA pull-pin system. Constructed from stainless steel throughout the Sidewinder resists corrosion and wear even when carried daily in a pocket or purse making it well suited to everyday carry in any climate. Rosewood bird s head grips complete the classic look while providing a comfortable secure purchase for a confident presentation under stress. The single-action trigger offers a crisp predictable break well suited to a gun this size rewarding deliberate aimed shots rather than rapid fire. At just 6.7 ounces the Sidewinder is one of the lightest options available for shooters who want a true backup gun that is never a burden to carry whether tucked into a pocket holster or carried as a secondary to a larger duty pistol. The ability to swap between .22 LR and .22 Mag cylinders gives the Sidewinder a versatility that most mini revolvers simply do not offer letting an owner tailor the gun to the task at hand without buying a second firearm. For practice training new shooters or simply keeping ammunition costs down the .22 LR cylinder delivers low-recoil familiarization that builds confidence and fundamentals. When the Sidewinder is pressed into service as a defensive tool the .22 Mag cylinder steps up the energy on tap while keeping the same compact stainless frame and rosewood grips. That flexibility combined with the convenience of a swing-out cylinder makes the North American Arms Sidewinder a practical choice for shooters who want one small revolver that can do double duty as both a plinker and a last-ditch defensive sidearm.
