The fluted design provides for effortless function, reduced weight, and helps channel debris out of the action to reduce jamming. An upgraded M-16 style extractor and fire control group feature tool-less takedown. The TriggerTech adjustable trigger provides a crisp frictionless release trigger press of 2.5-5.5 lbs. For extreme precision a Shilen match grade stainless steel barrel has been matched to the action. A self-indexing 17-4 stainless steel recoil lug adds extra barrel support. Comfort and ease of carry are important when trekking across fields or through the mountains. A McMillan Hunters Edge Sporter carbon fiber stock provides a lightweight platform that enhances accuracy while being reliable and strong.
