Noveske Bolt Carrier Features The Noveske Bolt Carrier is machined from aircraft grade domestically sourced proprietary 8620 steel and built to USGI specifications for reliable function in an M16 or M4 pattern rifle. Its DLC exterior coating is applied to Noveske s own specification giving the carrier added wear resistance and smooth cycling over thousands of rounds. The carrier does not include a bolt as it is designed to pair with Noveske barrels that come with a headspaced bolt already matched to the chamber. This carrier only configuration keeps the build process straightforward for anyone already running a compatible Noveske barrel. Included with the carrier are the cam pin firing pin and firing pin retaining pin giving builders the core components needed to complete the bolt carrier group. A mil-spec gas key rides on top of the carrier chrome lined and heat treated per GI specifications for consistent gas system performance. That gas key is secured with USGI domestically manufactured Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked to mil-spec standards reducing the risk of loosening under recoil.
