Noveske Recon Match AR-15 Barrel 5.56x45mm NATO 16" Medium Contour 1:7" Twist

The Noveske Recon Match is a 16-inch AR-15 replacement barrel chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington ammunition, built for shooters who prioritize accuracy. It is made from 416R stainless steel hardened to 30 RC, with a medium contour profile, a bead-blasted satin grey finish, and a 1:7 inch twist rate.

The bore uses polygonal rifling and a 5.56 Match Mod 0 chamber, which the manufacturer describes as improving projectile velocity and slowing bore erosion. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for flash hiders, muzzle brakes or suppressors, and the barrel has M4 extended feed ramps.

Each barrel ships with a pinned, low-profile gas block, gas tube and barrel extension. The gas block is a proprietary 1-inch unit installed at the factory, so standard 1.9-inch AR-15 front sight bases are not compatible. The barrel fits AR-15 mid-length gas systems.
