Octopus Autopilot Drives System f/Mercruiser from 1994 & North American Volvo from 1997 Sterndrive. The Remote drive unit can be installed in any convenient location; it requires the addition of a second steering cable and connection kit. There are connection kits for Mercruiser or Volvo Penta stern drive engines Outboard engines and a universal kit for inboard engines. The drive is mounted in a location away from the heat and vibrations of the engine. An interconnect cable is used to connect it to the engine steering system using one of the simple to mount connection kits.
