Odin Works AR15 Heavy Adjustable Buffer 4.20 oz

Odin Works AR10 Heavy Adjustable Buffer Features The Odin Works AR15 Heavy Adjustable Buffer is designed to fit AR-10 AR-15 and 9mm pistol caliber carbine platforms giving builders a single buffer solution across multiple rifle families. The buffer ships with an aluminum weight already installed and additional weights can be added or removed to fine tune the total buffer mass for a specific gas system or ammunition load. This adjustability is especially useful for suppressed rifles or over gassed systems where a heavier buffer can smooth out the cycling impulse and reduce felt recoil. At 4.20 ounces as shipped the buffer gives shooters a solid starting point for tuning before adding or removing internal weights. Fine tuning buffer weight is one of the most cost effective ways to improve an AR-15 s reliability and shooting comfort without replacing the gas system or barrel. A properly tuned buffer weight can reduce bolt carrier velocity decrease wear on internal components and smooth the overall recoil impulse felt by the shooter. Because this buffer accepts additional weights it offers more flexibility than a fixed weight buffer when working through a tuning process. The Odin Works AR15 Heavy Adjustable Buffer is a useful addition for any builder working to optimize a suppressed or otherwise non standard AR-15 configuration.
