Description
The ODIN Works O2 Lite is a 15.5-inch free-float handguard for the AR-15 platform, designed to replace the standard forend and give the barrel clearance from the stock. It mounts through M-LOK slots, so accessories can be attached along the rail system.
The forend is precision machined from 6005-T651 aluminum and finished in hard anodized black. It weighs 7 ounces, with 2.7 ounces of included hardware, and is listed as roughly 20 percent lighter than earlier ODIN Works forends. Accessory rails can be placed at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and joined into a continuous Picatinny section. The design includes four or more QD attachment points, is made to fit Magpul QD sockets, and is engineered to allow a low-profile gas block to fit inside.
