Otis Ripcord Pistol Bore Cleaner 9mm/38 Cal 36" Nomex

The Otis Ripcord is a pull-through bore cleaner for handguns chambered in 9mm Luger and 38/357 caliber. It is designed to be run through the bore from breech to muzzle in a single pass, without a gravity feed, to clean and engage the rifling.

The Ripcord has a helix-shaped rubber core that holds the braided Nomex cleaning surface against the bore. The Nomex fibers are rated for heat up to 700 degrees F, so the cleaner can be used while the barrel is still warm. The cleaning surface is 10 inches long on a 36-inch overall length. The 8-32 threaded ends accept other Otis cleaning components, such as a bore brush. The package includes the Ripcord only.
