Description
The Otis B.O.N.E. Tool is a gunsmith cleaning tool designed for the bolt carrier assembly of AR-10 style rifles chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. It is intended to scrape carbon and fouling from the bolt, bolt carrier and firing pin, areas where buildup can contribute to jams and malfunctions.
The tool fits 7.62mm MSR/AR bolt carrier groups. Its 8-32 threaded hole allows it to be used as a T-handle for added leverage during cleaning. Fit may vary somewhat between bolts from different manufacturers, so some bolts may fit better than others.
