Otis 6.8MM/270 Caliber Rifle Cleaning Kit with Brass Rods

The Otis 6.8MM/270 Caliber Rifle Cleaning Kit is a bore cleaning system for rifles chambered in .260, .270, .280, .284, 6.8mm and 7mm. It is sold as a bundle and built around four brass rod sections with male and female 8-32 threaded ends and a swivel handle rod, so the shooter can assemble a rod length suited to a particular rifle.

Because the components that contact the bore are brass, the kit is intended to reduce the risk of scratching the rifling compared with steel rods. The kit includes a .270 caliber bronze phosphor bore brush, a .270 caliber cotton bore mop, a brass pierce point jag and a brass component adaptor. It also includes 100 cleaning patches measuring 1 inch by 1 inch, a nylon all-purpose brush and a 0.5 fl. oz. bottle of FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP.
