Description
The Otis Technology Coated Cleaning Rod is a 36-inch stainless steel rod for cleaning .22 caliber and larger firearm bores. Its coated finish is intended to reduce scratching of the bore and resist the buildup of fouling and debris during cleaning.
The full-size handle uses steel ball bearings so the rod can spin freely and follow the rifling twist as it moves through the barrel, helping an attached brush, mop or jag keep even contact with the bore. The rod measures about .208 inch in diameter and has an 8-32 thread on the tip that accepts Otis brushes, mops and jags. A hanging hole in the handle allows storage on a pegboard or cleaning station.
The rod is made in the USA and is finished in black.
