Otis Vise Soft Jaws for Remington 1100

Otis Vise Soft Jaws Features The Otis Vise Soft Jaws are designed to work with light duty vises up to large heavy duty vises with a minimum vise jaw measurement of 4 inches long by 0.5 inches high making them compatible with most shop and home vises. Composed of a non-slip rubber material the jaws strike a balance between hardness needed to keep even small parts clamped securely and flexibility needed to mold to the various contours of a firearm. Because the rubber is softer than gun metals the jaws prevent marring or scratching that could otherwise occur when clamping a shotgun directly in metal vise jaws. The rubber compound is also resistant to oil solvent and alcohol and wipes clean easily after use during a cleaning session. A top lip built into the jaws helps protect the firearm s surface during clamping while embedded magnets work alongside that lip to hold the soft jaws securely to the vise itself. This combination keeps the jaws in place during use preventing slippage while a shotgun is being worked on. Built to fit the Remington 1100 shotgun platform the jaws give owners and gunsmiths a dedicated protective solution rather than relying on generic padding or shop rags.
