Description
The Pachmayr American Legend is a set of replacement grips for the 1911 pistol platform, designed to fit Colt 1911 Government and Commander models. They are made from Pachmayr Decelerator rubber, which is described as 50% softer than standard grips and is intended to increase recoil absorption and provide a controlled feel in the hand.
The grips are black and are cut to accommodate an ambidextrous safety. Their listed platform is 1911, so they are intended for use with compatible pistols of that type rather than other frame designs.
