Specifications
Description
The Pachmayr Snap Caps in 22 LR are training dummy rounds used to practice firing-pin operation and trigger control without live ammunition. Each cartridge is molded from plastic and is designed to be dropped on the firing pin repeatedly during dry-fire practice in rimfire firearms.
These black plastic snap caps are sold in packs of 24 and are intended for use in 22 LR rimfire firearms. The retailer's text states that the polymer construction is designed to withstand repeated hammer drops and to outlast other disposable rimfire snap caps, though that claim is not independently verified here.
Because the caps are sized for 22 LR chambers, they are not suitable for other calibers. Check your firearm's chamber specification before use.
