Parker Bros ~ GHE ~ 16 Gauge

Up for your consideration is a Grade 2 16 Gauge Parker Bros GHE. This shotgun is in good condition, about what one would expect for a shotgun that is over 100 years old. The case hardening has worn down almost completely, however some does remain towards the front of the trigger guard. The engravings are still deep and legible. The barrels are Damascus steel, and there are two gouges on the exterior which are pictured. Neither of them have penetrated fully, and they aren't pushing into the bores. The gun locks up nice and tight still, and the barrels ring with no rattle. Despite showing it's age, this is a beautiful example and for the right collector this is would be a great addition.
