PARKER HALE ~ SAFARI ~ .308 WIN

The Parker Hale Safari is a classic, British-built bolt-action sporting rifle built on a robust, Mauser-style action and chambered in the highly versatile, universally popular .308 Winchester cartridge. This specific field rifle features a handy, maneuverable 20" threaded barrel (thread pitch unknown), making it an excellent candidate for the addition of a suppressor or muzzle brake. It comes paired with a versatile 1.5-4.5x variable power scope, perfectly suited for quick target acquisition at close-to-medium ranges. The firearm presents in honest, field-used fair condition across both the wood and metalwork, showing expected signs of character from a life spent in the field. Notably, the classic Monte Carlo wood stock features a small crack in the grip starting at the back of the trigger guard, and it carries unique international provenance with authentic Finnish shooting proficiency test stickers affixed to the wood. Combining dependable British engineering with a distinct layer of Scandinavian hunting history, this Safari serves as a capable, unique project rifle or a fascinating conversation piece for any collector.
